Offical Xmas Number 1!
Dec 20th
The official Christmas Number 1 was announced on the Radio 1 Chart Show earlier today. Rage Against the Machine have beaten the X-Factor’s Joe to the number one with their 1992 single Killing in the Name. This is all because of a huge Facebook campaign that has raised money for the charity Shelter. So this year it won’t be the X-Factor that’s number one for Christmas, have a listen and let us know what you think!
Check out the rest of the UK Xmas Chart over at Radio 1’s website.
Have a good Christmas all!
It’s Christmasssss!
Dec 4th
Ok, so at this time of year some people are feeling down because of the dark evenings and the weather being a bit temperamental.
However we at ATR have the answer!
At lunch times from the 4th of December to the 17th December ATR will be providing music for people to listen to at lunch times in the atrium, with a bit of a Christmas twist.
So if you have nothing to do one lunch time and feel like cheering everyone up and getting them in the festive mood, contact us now!
Merry Christmas All!
Andy

BBC School Report
Sep 8th
BBC School Report is coming to Arthur Terry this year!
The main aim of BBC News School Report is to interest young people in news of all sorts, and the world around them, by giving them the chance to make their own news.
It is also an opportunity for students to inform a real audience, via BBC programmes and web pages, about the stories which are important to them.
You will develop many new skills: for instance working in teams, managing your time time, conduct independent enquiries, communicate effectively and think critically.
It is also a chance for you to broadcast your own work to a real audience.
Look out at school for ways to get involved!
